Ola Jordan visits The nightingale clinic for ultherapy
Recently, we had the privilege of treating Ola Jordan with Ultherapy at our W1 clinic. Ultherapy is a non-invasive procedure that lifts and tightens the skin of your face, neck and décolletage – with minimal downtime. The use of ultrasound energy boosts your own natural production of collagen and elastin for natural looking results.
Lifts and tightens skin
Ultherapy, available at our Petts Wood clinic and in London is the only non-invasive treatment cleared by the FDA for lifting and tightening skin on the lower face, brow, neck and décolleté . Ultherapy uses micro focused ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen, lift and tighten loose skin .This gradually creates a more defined jaw line , improved jowl area, elevated brow and enhanced skin tone and texture, without down time. Advocates include Christie Brinkley, Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow. Ideal candidates are those with mild to moderate laxity.
Tess Daly Loves Ultherapy!
“I talk a lot in my job, so laughter lines are an occupational hazard! I laugh a lot by nature. I think I’ve had laughter lines for as long as I can remember! Ultherapy® is quite handy because you can target an area that you think needs a little more care, whether it’s your neck and jaw area, forehead, or eyes. If you’re working to a budget, you can certainly use it as a targeted treatment.”
The Strictly Come Dancing presenter has revealed that she is a great “fan of the non-surgical treatment” to enhance and maintain her naturally beautiful looks. Tess, who turned 52 earlier this year , had the treatment a year and a half ago and is now enjoying lifted and tightened results across her skin.
Ultherapy has been clinically proven to boost collagen and elastin, providing skin rejuvenation and a more youthful appearance. Ultherapy uses micro focused ultrasound energy ,targeting the SMAS and dermal layers. This thermo-coagulation jump starts your body’s mechanism to produce new collagen to strengthen and lift skin.

Frequently Asked Questions
Ultherapy is a proven treatment with a well-established safety profile.
The production of new collagen takes time, so results can become more apparent over two to three months, even up to six months. The procedure takes about 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the area treated, and there is no downtime afterward. It is also the only non-invasive procedure to use ultrasound imaging, which allows us to actually see the layers of tissue targeted during the treatment and ensure the energy is deposited precisely to where it will be most beneficial.
As the only non-invasive procedure FDA-cleared to lift skin on the neck, Ultherapy is designed to treat “turkey neck,” one of the common signs of ageing skin. Ultherapy can help you achieve a fresher look without surgery or downtime.
Ultherapy uses sound energy which has unique properties that allow it to bypass the surface of the skin to treat depths not matched by any other non-invasive cosmetic device. Ultherapy ultrasound stimulates collagen production in the skin’s foundation, resulting in a clinically significant lift of tissue.
Since the procedure stimulates a person’s own collagen production, how long the results last depends on the individual. While results appear over two to three months, they can last up to a year or more. The treatment produces new collagen on the inside, but the individual’s natural aging process will dictate how long that translates into visible results on the outside.
As the ultrasound energy is delivered, you may feel tiny amounts of energy being deposited to precise depths, stimulating the collagen-building process.
There may be slight redness that typically resolves within a few hours following the treatment. Some patients may have slight swelling, tingling, or tenderness to the touch, but these are mild and temporary in nature.
